Andrew J. Cevasco has established himself as an experienced and
successful personal and business advisor. He provides a broad range
of services to the firm's commercial clients, including business
planning, business formation and dissolutions, employment and
contract issues, and real estate matters. He is particularly
knowledgeable in the areas of estate planning and taxation and the
administration of estates and trusts. He also advises clients with
regard to estate tax planning and elder law issues and lectures in
the area of estate planning. When the need arises, he is an
experienced civil litigator, particularly in the areas of estate and
chancery litigation. Mr. Cevasco is a trained mediator, listed by
the Supreme Court of New Jersey on its Roster of Mediators. After graduating from law school, Mr. Cevasco was legal secretary to Justice Robert L. Clifford of the New Jersey Supreme Court, gaining hands-on experience with the legal process from the vantage point of our state's highest court. Mr. Cevasco currently serves on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character and is a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association. He is a member of the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Counsel and the New Jersey State and Bergen County Bar Associations. He also served for four years on the District Ethics Committee for Bergen County, pursuant to appointment by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Mr. Cevasco is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He received his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He was awarded his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Fordham University and was selected for the Phi Beta Kappa honors fraternity. Active in his community, Mr. Cevasco is an officer and founding member of the Rutherford Education Foundation. He has served on the Boards of Directors for the Greater Bergen County YMCA and the Catholic Youth Organization of both Bergen County and the Archdiocese of Newark. Published Articles by Andrew J.
