Susan M. Marra
Susan M. Marra is an experienced transactional
attorney. She practices primarily in the areas of commercial real
estate law, business law and corporate law. She has an extensive
background in commercial leasing, real estate and business
acquisition and financing, landlord/tenant law and land use law. Ms.
Marra was counsel for the Secaucus Planning Board and has appeared
before many other zoning and planning boards. She is also
experienced in condominium law, and has served as counsel for
condominium boards.
Susan Marra received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law
School and her B.A. from Rowan University. She is admitted to
practice in New Jersey and New York as well as before the United
States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S.
Supreme Court. Ms. Marra is a member of the New Jersey State Bar
Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and Women Lawyers in
Bergen County. As a member of the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional
Counsel, Ms. Marra continues to hone her skills and mentors less
experienced attorneys. Ms. Marra serves on the Supreme Court of New
Jersey District IIA Ethics Committee.
Because of the diversity of her legal experience, Ms. Marra has the
ability to serve large corporate clients as well as small startup
businesses with equal proficiency and understanding of their needs.
Ms. Marra is particularly sensitive to issues relating to
closely-held businesses, having been actively involved with her
family’s business for many years.
