Marra is an experienced attorney, practicing primarily in the areas of commercial real estate law, business law, corporate law and trusts & estates. She has an extensive background in commercial leasing, real estate and business acquisition and financing, landlord/tenant law and land use law. She is also skilled in condominium law, and has served as counsel for condominium associations. Ms. Marra was counsel for the Secaucus Planning Board and has appeared before many zoning and planning boards. She is also knowledgeable in estate planning and the administration of estates. Ms. Marra is included on the Statewide Roster of Mediators for Civil, General Equity and Probate Cases as a qualified mediator. Ms. Marra received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. from Rowan University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York as well as before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Marra is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, Women Lawyers in Bergen and the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel. She served on the District IIA Ethics Committee following a four-year appointment by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Because of the diversity of her legal experience, Ms. Marra has the ability to serve large corporate clients as well as small startup businesses with equal proficiency and understanding of their needs. Ms. Marra is especially insightful to issues relating to closely held businesses, having been actively involved in her family's business for many years. She is similarly sensitive to the needs of her estate and trust clients addressing difficult personal decisions.
