Michael R. Olszak
Michael R. Olszak comes to Herten
Burstein after gaining substantial litigation experience in the
insurance defense and medical malpractice fields. He presently
practices in the areas of commercial, civil, and chancery
litigation.
Mr. Olszak earned his Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Political Science from Rutgers University in 1999 and his
Juris Doctorate Degree in 2002 from Rutgers University School of
Law-Camden. As well as being a Dean’s List student, while at Rutgers
University School of Law-Camden, he served as Associate Articles
Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, and was named to
Who’s Who of American Law Students.
While in Law School Mr. Olszak served
an internship with the office of Assemblyman Kevin O’Toole as well
as an internship with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office,
Department of Law & Public Safety, Treasury Department. After
graduating Law School, Mr. Olszak served as a law clerk to the
Honorable Susan L. Reisner, Presiding Judge of the Chancery Court.
Since that time Mr. Olszak has served
as the President of the Delta Chi Rutgers Chapter, Alumni Board of
Trustees as well as an Environmental Commissioner for the Township
of Fairfield. He is a member of the Lyndhurst County Republican
Committee and has volunteered his legal services in the past to the
Doug Forrestor, for Governor Campaign. He is a member of the Bergen
County Bar Association and is certified in mediation.
