Patrick Papalia
Patrick Papalia practices in the areas of civil
litigation, real estate, corporate and business law.
Mr. Papalia has developed an impressive reputation
as a tenacious litigator. His experience includes commercial
insurance, employment, corporate, and estate matters. Mr. Papalia
has skillfully handled many of the firm’s complex corporate
management and commercial litigation matters. His experience in the
corporate area includes the representation of clients in the
purchase and sale of businesses, negotiation of various contracts
and advising with regard to many types of corporate and employment
matters. Mr. Papalia has extensive experience in all aspects of
civil litigation and corporate law, which has enabled him to provide
a wide range of seasoned advice to the firm’s diverse clients.
Mr. Papalia received his J.D. from Seton Hall
University School of Law. Mr. Papalia has a business degree, with
honors, from Montclair State University, which enables him to
provide focused and helpful advice to the firm’s business clients.
He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, District of
Columbia, and the United States Federal District Court for the
District of New Jersey.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Papalia
served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Peter Ciolino, A.J.S.C.
of the New Jersey Superior Court, gaining hands-on experience from
Bergen County’s highest ranking judge. He also completed judicial
internships during law school with the Honorable Maryanne Trump
Barry, U.S.D.J. in the United States Federal District Court and with
the Honorable Murray G. Simon, J.S.C., the Honorable Irwin I.
Kimmelman, J.S.C., and the Honorable Harry A. Margolis, J.S.C. in
the Chancery Division of the New Jersey Superior Court.
Mr. Papalia is a member of the Bergen County Bar
Association. He is also a graduate of the Justice Pashman Inn of
Court, where he honed his litigation and trial skills during a
two-year program.
Mr. Papalia has served as a court appointed fiscal
agent and discovery master for the New Jersey Superior Court, Law
and General Equity Parts. Judges of the New Jersey Superior Court
have appointed Mr. Papalia to serve and assist the court on complex
legal matters.
Mr. Papalia is fluent in Italian.
