Daniel C. Ritson
Daniel C. Ritson serves Herten Burstein in the
areas of labor and employment law.
Mr. Ritson regularly appears before various Trial
courts in connection with the argument of motions and conferences.
He has successfully argued various dispositive motions, most
particularly in defense of cases involving alleged employment
discrimination. He is proficient in the drafting of litigation
pleadings, motions and briefs. Due to his concentration in labor and
employment law throughout his legal career, Mr. Ritson is able to
offer experienced advice to individual and corporate clientele
concerning a variety of issues in the field.
Having gained trial experience early in his
career, Mr. Ritson is no stranger to intense litigation. However, he
is also well-versed in alternative dispute resolution, and always
attempts to serve his clients with an eye toward the bottom line.
Mr. Ritson is a 2001 graduate of the University of
Richmond, where he earned a B.S. degree in Finance, appearing on the
Dean’s List throughout his concentration. He received his J.D. from
Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004, where he continues to
remain active as a coach of the school’s Interscholastic Moot Court
Board. He is admitted to practice before the United States District
Court for the District of New Jersey, the Superior Court of the
State of New Jersey, and the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
