Kelly K. Ruggiero
Kelly K. Ruggiero practices in both the
transactional and commercial litigation departments of Herten
Burstein. On the transactional side, she participates in the
negotiation and drafting of the gamut of merger and acquisition
documents, together with documents relating to corporate governance.
On the litigation side, Ms. Ruggiero handles all phases of the
litigation process, through and including trial preparation.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Ruggiero
served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert P. Contillo, J.S.C. in
the New Jersey Superior Court, Bergen Vicinage. During her
clerkship, Ms. Ruggiero gained significant experience in a variety
of areas, including complex business and shareholder disputes,
estate litigation and foreclosure matters. Ms. Ruggiero began her
legal career as a paralegal in the corporate legal department of one
of the nation's largest investor-owned water services companies.
Ms. Ruggiero is a 2001 graduate of the College of
the Holy Cross, where she was selected as a Washington Scholar in
the Fall of 1999. Ms. Ruggiero received her J.D. from Seton Hall
University School of Law in 2006.
Kelly Ruggiero is a member of the Bergen County,
Rockland County, New York and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
