Philip F. Sheridan, JR.
Philip F. Sheridan, Jr. concentrates his practice
in the area of civil litigation. His experience includes commercial
litigation, products liability, insurance defense and workers
compensation. He has also served as a Municipal Prosecutor and
presently sits as a Municipal Judge.
Mr. Sheridan is a 1966 graduate of the University
of Notre Dame, where he captained the football team in 1965. He
received his J.D. Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in
1969, after which he served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable
Thomas O’Brien, J.S.C. and the Honorable Arthur Simpson, J.S.C.
Mr. Sheridan is a member of the New Jersey State
and Bergen County Bar Associations, the Bergen County Municipal
Judges Association and the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Northern New
Jersey. He is a former Trustee and Past President of the Bergen
County Bar Association. Mr. Sheridan has also served as Trustee and
Past President of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of North Jersey as well
as a Director of Notre Dame Monogram Club. He has also served as a
member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Fee Arbitration Committee
for Bergen County. He presently serves on the New Jersey Supreme
Court’s Advisory Committee on Professional Ethics.
Mr. Sheridan is admitted to practice in New Jersey
as well as the United States District Court for the District of New
Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
