Louis C. Tomasella
Louis C. Tomasella is an experienced legal
practitioner in the areas of estate planning and administration,
general corporate law, and commercial litigation. Prior to attending
law school, he worked for five years as a Senior Financial Analyst
on Wall Street for one of the nation's foremost investment firms.
Mr. Tomasella is experienced in the drafting of
sophisticated estate planning documents such as wills, trusts,
durable powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. He also
handles estate administration and guardianship matters for the firm.
In the field of corporate law, Mr. Tomasella prepares shareholder
and buy-sell agreements, operating and partnership agreements, stock
purchase and stock option agreements. He also has handled commercial
transactions and litigation, including preparing and negotiating
commercial leases. Residential real estate closings and general
litigation are within his expertise as well.
A 1988 graduate of Fordham University, Mr. Tomasella
earned his B.S. degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. He
earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh in
1989. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1996, where
he was a member of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. His
present professional affiliations include the Greater New Jersey
Estate Planning Council and the Bergen County Bar Association.
